マッコーリー大学からの教育実習生
9月17日から明日までの約2週間、高大連携を結んでいるオーストラリアの Macquarie University から2名の学生が本校で教育実習を行っています。ホームルームや授業を受けもち、積極的に生徒に関わってくれています。文化祭の準備も手伝ってくださいました。実習生・生徒ともに成長につながる2週間となりました。

Ms. Goldsmith
Bachelor of international studies, majoring in Japanese.
日本語を専攻し、国際学の学士号を取得しています。
Mr. Hamilton
My degree is a bachelor of Arts, majoring in Japanese studies. I have also taken classes in astronomy, anthropology, and history.
私の学位は芸術の学士で、日本の研究を専攻しています。また、天文学、人類学、歴史の授業を受けました。

They are very kind and energetic. I always feel thankful when they approach me and try to speak English.

They are very energetic, in some ways they are very similar to high school students in Australia but much more polite.
すごくエネルギッシュで、ある意味ではオーストラリアの高校生に似ていますが、神田女学園の生徒の方がもっと礼儀正しいです。

Some days I went out to eat with coworkers, other days I went shopping a bit of sight-seeing.
同僚と一緒に食事に出かけた日もあれば、ちょっとした観光に買い物に出かけた日もありました。
Mr. Hamilton
I spent my days off by going sightseeing in places like Kamakura and Enoshima, I also tried lots of different food such as Motsu nabe.
休日は鎌倉や江ノ島などの観光に行きました。また、もつ鍋なども食べました。

Ms. Goldsmith
I am not quite sure yet but I am considering working as a teacher. However, I definitely want to continue studying Japanese.
まだよくわかりませんが、先生として働くことを考えています。しかし、私は絶対日本語の勉強を続けたいです。
Mr. Hamilton
As a career, I would like to either work as an English teacher in a Japanese school or as a translator. Preferably I would work for a few years as an English teacher while studying the JLPT N1 exam and then undertake a masters of translation.
キャリアとして、日本の学校で英語の先生として、または翻訳家として働きたいです。 JLPT N1試験の勉強中に、英語教師として数年間働いてから、翻訳の修士号を取得することが望ましいです。

I am super thankful to students who greeted me with a smile as well as those who took the time to talk to me. They were very nice and bright students. I hope I was also make such a positive impact in their lives as well. Thank you for having me.
